I just wrote a how-to piece on doing this. I used Automator to create a simple script (using the record function) to focus the download window and press the "Resume All" button. Then I have instructions on setting the Mac to wake on schedule, before the script is run. That way, you can schedule it to run at 3am and it will wake up.

I have to say, what you have is a good idea, and much simpler. The problem I ran into is authentication. Whenever iTunes opens up and downloads, it asks for the Apple ID and password. Automator cannot authenticate with iTunes, for good reasons -- like most e-commerce applications, they want a human to authenticate. I think iTunes 11 requires authentication when the app starts, whereas older versions could download purchased content without authenticating.

So basically, one opens iTunes, starts the download, pauses it, leaves the download window up (and unobscured) and then sets Mac to wake at least a minute before the Calendar event fires. This seems to be what is necessary for iTunes 11, but I will give your method a go... I like it -- it's much simpler. But like I said, I'm not sure if it will work with iTunes 11. It is pretty persnickety about authentication.

Hi Melanie, it is in the menu bar at the top, "iPhotos, File, Edit, Photos, Events, View, Window, Help"
So you have to select all the RAW photos in the event, then click Photos and then from the sub menu choose Reprocess RAW at the bottom.

The photos selected have to be RAW in order for this menu item to appear.

(thanks, post edited for clarity)

It seems that the first line is the number of bytes of the real message contents, i.e. excluding the XML stuff that has been added to the end, and excluding the length of the first line itself.

So in order to convert a .emlx file to a .eml file, you can do the following on the Terminal.app command line:

<code>perl -ne '$num=$_; read ARGV, $_, $num; print; exit' in.emlx >out.eml</code>

Note: Above code sample is only given for educative purposes. If you use it, you do so at your own risk.
